Is it possible for an Eurasian to have blond hair and blue eyes?

So far out of all the Eurasians I've seen, I haven't met one with blond hair and blue eyes. Eurasians are half Asian and White for those who don't know.

I know a lot of Eurasians from school thats why. A lot of them have pale skin or peach skin, brown or dark brown hair, hazel or green, or light brown eyes.

I haven't seen one with blond hair and blue eyes yet.

I've seen it. My friends were part Japanese and they had dark blond hair and light eyes. They looked a little weird though.

The Tuvan people can have asian features and light complexion/hair: http://www.answers.com/topic/t... Report It

Blond hair and blue eyes are a unique pure Caucasian trait. No eurasian can't have blonde hair cause well they have been "mixed".

It is possible, but then the idea of blood purity gets called into question.

Asia and Europe have been mingling on some level for quite a while. Also, keep in mind that Mongolia invaded Europe several times, and some of them interbred with white women, probably bringing children back with them.

All it would take is one 'pure' Asian child with a single, blonde haired blue-eyed ancestor mingling with a Caucasian child and bam- Eurasian child with odd colouration.

And then there are cases where the Eurasian child is the product of two Eurasian parents. I had a friend who was half-Japanese, half-white, but so were her parents- she had the brightest green eyes and blackest hair I've ever seen on a human being.

It's rare, but it does happen. My mother is Korean, and my father is caucasian, and I ended up with red hair and hazel eyes- while both of my parents are dark haired, and dark eyed.

The Strong/Dominant Genes in the Human Body relies on the Dominant side!

The word Eurasian originally applied to people who were British and Indian (India). It occurred during the British occupation of India. They are also called Anglo-Indians. (It also happened in Sri Lanka)

There are Anglo-Indians with pale skin and blue eyes or green eyes. Some also have very light hair and I have seen a lot that look European and not one bit Indian. This is because the Brits are Caucasian and technically, so are the Indians.

You never know if one was born blond but decided to dye it too...

With the Orientals (eg Chinese), you can detect the strong Chinese features in Eurasians, especially in the eyes. Most ones I have seen have black or brown hair and a more softer look to their features, but the oriental eyes are always there.

Those 2 are recessive traits. the only chance of that happening to a person with even a little bit of dominant traits is from the pigmentation disease/mutation/phenomenon found in albinos.

Why would an Eurasian or anyone who's not blond or blue eyed to want something like that or to be wishful thinking about that? To wish for something like that suggests one trait is superior to another, which is just silly. It also suggests eugenics which is pretty racist to me. Although, it is just my opinion and others may differ.

Black hair/Brown eyes are the dominant traits. Blonde hair/Blue eyes are recessive traits. So scientifically speaking, its near impossible. There are some exceptions but they are very rare and are not determined by these traits. It's kind of like how a white tiger is a recessive trait so in order to create one, you need to mate it with its own family, which is why most white tigers turn out retarded due to incest.
