Clairol Natural Instincts has a really nice line of level 2 hair dyes. That generally means that they will wash out in 28 washes. I'd use caution though, because since she's dying it darker, it won't wash out as quickly as it says. Darker dye may even permanently color it so that it would need a harsher coloring agent to return it to her original color. Also, maybe try a line of washouts called Pulse. They're available at most places like walmart or target. I think they have it in black and it's designed to be much more temporary than other dyes if I remember correctly. Good luck!

L'Oreal make a good product. If you hair is light you will have to use a red base protein filler or your color wont take. Stay with Warm Shades or Gold. Stay away from cool shades like
Ash tones. Or your hair will wind up looking gray or green.
