it seems that all these people who are against illegal immigarnts are AFRAID that in a generation or so the majority of Americans will no longer be the typical blond blue eyed looking American. It seems these people are AFRAID that our society will turn for the worse if minorities become the majority. What's even funnier is that blond hair and blue eyes aren't usually truly American (Native) features anyway. Those features are still very rare in the US anyway. I'm half Native, half Irish, and although my eyes are gray, my hair's brown black and my skin's a buff beige color. Sounds like some of you think there's something wrong with that.
I bleached my hair once, didn't look right on light olive skin. It isn't actually very pretty unless you have it naturally, and even then it looks a little odd.

No, because most of those ones are from Europe which is were Americans were originally from. Also they mostly have the same religions and customs as Americans do, so they are not changing the American culture, they are just adding to the population and history of America.

As a natural, blue eyed blonde (no, I don't look like my avatar); I can't really sympathize with the plight of dark-skinned and dark-eyed immigrants. Take a look around. These so-called "minorities" are now becoming the MAJORITY and I for one welcome the affirmation of those of us with recessive genes. "Typical" blue-eyed looking American, you say? Well, I live in Canada, but I can say for one thing that the number of blue-eyed types around where I live is declining as our borders are continually flooded with all manner of other ethnics. The days of the white majority are fast coming to a close, I'm afraid to say.

First of all that is not true, many people in Mexico have blue eyes. And some are light skinned.

I don't think that's the issue at all for most. Maybe some but not the majority. I think some get this idea because of the frequent mention of our southern Border and the sheer numbers of southern crossers. But those who have an understanding of illegal immigration rarely if ever turn this into a race issue.
