Well I really want a new hairstyle cause im really bored with straight hair and long bangs. I still want long hair and not short or shoulder length. I also want some black highlights in my hair too.. I just can't figure out a good hair style. Can you please give me some good hairstyle ideas?

i wouldnt do black.... if they are done wrong they look HORRIBLE and they are hard to do right. with blond you could do tiger eye low lights (blond shades with many different brown shades) with layers and swooping bangs. http://teamsugar.com/files/images/File04...

mix lemon juice with a little bit of peroxcide and put in hair

let it dry in the sun, if u do it a couple times u can see a huge difference... it will make many shades of blond too, it looks very naturral

u can also do it with out peroxicide so it doesnt "destoy" you hair, it just works a little less, and hilights wont make ur whole head lighter so ppl will obviously nitice it

lemon juice works if you want to use that. you need to sit in the sun with the lemon juice and you hair and then wash it out later.

you could paint your tips with a dye brush and wrap it in tin foil to avoid the rest of your hair. Also, there's this cap in a highlighting box that you can purchase at any store or sally's, that has holes and you pull the hair through to dye. If you want all the tips black, comb your hair in a tight pony tail to the top of your forehead and dye the ends. Goodluck and make sure you wipe up any extra dye off your skin.

If you do not have the money to go to a salon then you need a friend who can do this for you .....tip your head upside down ....all the way down so all of your layers are at one length.....mix up the color and only tip the ends with the color.....or coarse she should have gloves on.....and this is not a speed contest she should be taking her time....Black is the worst color to get out of a head aside of cutting it out. you have to stay in this position till it times out per box instructions....or go to a salon and have them foil your ends....because you are blond they would use a blue black so your ends come up black and not another color the black might have in it.....like red....red/orange....purple....purple/re...

it depends on your skin color my skin is really white i have no tan whatsoever i have dark brown hair and i usually dye it a reddish color like a copper color or auburn....

Please listen before you do anything......... Once you color your hair brown you won't be able to color it back to blonde if you don't like it, so make sure that's what you want to do. Second, you should really seek professional help because if your hair is porous the ends of your hair might come out muddy or ashey. be careful choosing something over the counter, you might not get the results you want. Try professional hair color from sally beauty supply (it's about the only place you can get professional quality haircolor), ill tell you what you need ahead of time:

If you are looking for permanent haircolor, chose a color that you like, if your hair is long you will need to buy 2 bottles of the color (which are usually about 2oz. ea.)

For a pre-treatment you might want to get a small bottle of a neutral protein filler. wet your hair and leave it on for about 20min. After 20min. use a towel to dab off any extra filler that your hair has not absorbed. (don't rinse the filler out, you will leave it in with the haircolor) Then just make sure your hair is dry before you dye your hair. (you can use your dryer to speed up the process!) This will even out the texture of your hair so the color will be absorbed evenly into the hair, and it will help avoid light or dark spots and muddy ends.

After you have those you will also need a bottle of developer (aka peroxide, oxidant), you will need to between 2 to 8 oz of developer depending on how many bottles of haircolor you are going to use.

The developer comes in different peroxide volumes (10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 volume). basically, the lighter the color you are dying your hair, the higher number you are going to chose.

Since your hair is currently blond, if you are going a light to medium shade of brown you will use 20vol. developer, and if you are going a dark medium to dark shade of brown you will use 10vol. developer. I recommend getting at least an 8oz. bottle.

Then you will need either a mixing bowl and a tint brush, or, an applicator bottle. And don't forget gloves! lol
