You could also try lemon juice.

Is your hair color natural or do you dye it. If it's natural, I would go with a shampoo that could get rid of the brassiness. If you dye it, perhaps your stylist used the wrong kind of dyes or toners on your hair. If that's the case, the next time you go to them bring it up. Ask for something a little more natural. Also, if you had your hair dyed and it then became yellow, you could also use those brightening shampoos and conditioners. Blonde hair attracts alot of brassiness from everything to water, sunlight, chlorine or your hair products.

Ooooh I'm an expert at this - me being someone who struggled with exactly the same problem. It's actually not what you would think. Foils are the key. Block colouring really accentuates a colour that's not right for your skin - yellow. And it's pretty darn hard to get the perfect colour that's natural looking for you. So you take golden and honey coloured foils if you want a darker look. Or you could go with some caramel splices for the in between. Then there's my favourite the champaigne blonde with some dirty blonde highlights looks great if you want a lighter look. Try to avoid the "white" blonde look as after the first week it will turn orange or a grey-y white.
