o.k. So I am a natural blond and a few minutes in the sun dies it really blond. But the problem is that I am now 45 (but look 27...not kidding) and my hair grows darker then the ends, so I have to die the roots blond like the ends because of the sun. My hair is down to my waist and very straight and shiny....could be cause it gets oily and I have to wash it every day. I put it light ash blond on the roots(like the sun makes it) but sometimes it gets golden blond instead. Do I leave it to long or what ? Sometimes the color turns out o.k. I don't get it. I use "Preference" in a box. How can I achieve ashy silver blond and keep it that way ? I want to buy it in tubes now. Any ideas anyone ? I would go to a hair dresser but I would have to be there every week! My hair and nails really grows fast !
