I am thinking about dying my hair dark... or maybe green. Whateva. But, this girl in my class TOTALLY dyed her hair black and she was a total blond!!!! It looked BAD!!!! BAD BAD BAD BAD!!!! I want to dye my hair darker so bad cuz i TOTALLY hte the frickin color of my frickin hair!!!! I want it darker. And especially black.

i have blond hair and i dyed mine a dark brownish red... it actually didn't look too bad. you just need to find something that will complement your skin, really. black tends to be really harsh on people and if you have fair skin, it probably won't look so good. try something with a bit warmer color to it, and i think you'd be good.

and if you ever want to go back to blonde, good luck. it took me almost two years :(

go for a medium-dark brown instead of black. if you're blonde. it gives yoy the same effect as black hair on someone with a darker natural colour and doesn't look as harsh on a blonde. start out lighter than you think you want to go, cause its a lot easier to darken hair than lighten it.

Don't dye your hair black because you will regret it.

Try using a semi permanent or a demi. These are colors that last about a month and gradually wash out of your hair. I'd go that route so you are not stuck with something horrendous.

Really, don't do black, you'll look horrible.

The only problem with going that dark is color will not lift color. If you do not like it you will have to go the salon and have it striped out which will leave the hair extremely dry and brittle.

Then you will have another problem and that is to get the color you want to stay in the hair shaft. With the cuticle (out side layer of the hair shaft) bl-owed completely out after stripping the color will fade out really fast.

if you're gonna go black..or even something like dark brown...make sure to darken your eyebrows too!! it makes a HUGE difference!! if your eyebrows remain blonde after you've darkened your hair, it will look like you have none..that's the key to keeping it natural!!
