Why is my naturally blond hair turning brown? Do I have a weird medical condition?

I have been a natural blond all of my life, but in the past year my hair is turning brown-Why? I actually colored my hair back to my natural color.

everyone's hair colour changes

lightens, darkens, gets grey.... it all happens.

you don't have a weird medical condition, you are normal.

my hair was blondy/brown as a kid, and turned to almost black.... so did my dads - he was white blond as a kid.

my mom's hair lightened and then went grey, my daughters were blond and turned brown....... etc etc

don't know, I would freak if I started turning brunette

I don't think so. One winter, my hair turned brown, then turned blonde again next spring. I don't think it's any thing to worry about, it's probably just a pigment change.

It's called age.

Bold redheads start turning dull red, then brown.

Blonds lose their blondness and turn brown.

I guess brown hair at birth just goes on to gray.

nothing is wrong with u. i know many people who were born blonde and their hair turned brown - my sister, for example. she just dies her hair now.. i don't really know exactly why it does that, but it's normal.

No not at all, this has happend to my mom, myself, and my sister, we all had very blond hair when we were younger and the older we got the darker our hair got, I live where it is sunny all the time so my hair is getting lighter now, its not dark brown but kind of a dirty blond but in the summer when I am outside a lot it turns lighter, I don't color my hair,I have in the past but it isn't as shiny after I colored it, kind of got a little frizzy so I don't color anymore.

I had blond hair, too, as a child. The older I got, the darker it got. It's a natural process due to hormonal changes in your body. Hair color and texture can change during pregnancy too.

Something like that is happening to me too. I am naturally a light dirty blond an it is going browner. Nothing is wrong with you. Your just changing. Mabye spending less time in the sun? Its fine though, but if you want your natural color by all means dye it, although dye sometimes becomes addictive(you have to keep dyeing your hair and it adds up$!)

A lot of blondes find that their hair darkens with age. Relax, the only condition you have is called normal ageing.
