Should only light skinned people dye their hair blond?

I'm Mexican, I have light brown hair, and many girls tell me to dye it blond 'coz it would look natural on me 'coz I have light skin. I would never dye my hair. But they do have a point, there are a lot of people who are really brown, and I've seen some black people with blond hair. Why do they dye it? It looks so fake.

Some people just like the fake look over the natural one and I just happen to be one of them. I have dyed hair and extensions. It's just depends on a persons personal preference.

Personal coloring is what it is all about. I knew an Indian girl once who had light brown hair and green eyes....she looked beautiful with blonde streaks in her hair. Yet, I wouldn't tell most Native American women to do it. And you're right, it seems the darker the skin and the lighter the hair, it just doesn't look right! Very unnatural! It's all about each individual's unique coloring and what sort of fashion personality they have. Are you a Dramatic or a Natural? Classic or Romantic? Each personality has it's own unique flair and most people are a combination of 2. Just depends on you! There are rules in color analysis and color theory....BUT they say rules are made to be broken. Some you could, some you shouldn't.

It probably would look great on you with a few carmel or blonde highlights in your hair. It doesn't mean you have to dye your whole head that color! A lot of your friends are probably envious because they'd like to have some blonde, but know it probably wouldn't look as good on them as it would on you! LOL

the best thing to do for your hair is to leave it natural...dying really does a number on it...drying it out.

A few highlights would look ok..but unless you have any shade of blonde,you'll have roots showing in a few weeks time...a dead give away.

There a re some people who prefer to stick out and be different from the "norm". Dark or light skin doesn't matter. What matters is if you're happy with the look. You can always change how you look.

No, i have a friend whose italian with brown hair and blond highlights, it looks really good and goes well. if your not sure why not try hair extensions first or even a washable hair colour product that way if you don't like it, theres nothing to worry bout coz its not permanent and will return back to normal in a couple of days
