Does shampoo/conditioner made for blond hair lighten other color hair?

I have brown hair. If i use a conditioner/shampoo (such as pantene expressions blonde) for specifically blond hair, will that lighten my brown hair?

Absolutely not.....any shampoo on the market will work on any color of hair.....the products would not be allowed to be marketed to the general public, if there was any risk of "cosmetic" or any other harm to the consumer....too many lawsuits out there over ridiculous stuff like this!

By the way, you can just use Ivory Soap for your shampoo.....no need to buy all that expensive stuff they try to sell you......believe me, I know from personal experience....all the hype over hair products is just that....hype.....to make MONEY!!!

nope. those products are made just to make a specific colour remain vibrant and not let it get dull.. not change it.

no it may leave golden highlights but it does not have bleach in it that is the only way to lighten your hair that and peroxide. It just has highlights to blend with your hair color. Good luck.
