In all honesty, I would keep it black. I think that color really suits you. You also need to take in consideration before dying it again, what color actually gives you the most confidence? I think the black does. And you are very beautiful by the way. If you do decide to go back natural, I will warn you that if you do it yourself, you will not like it and will regret it. go to the salon. Another heed of warning, is that going back to your natural will take bleaching twice to get to that stage of pigment. Right now you are a level 2-3 and your natural is about a 10-11. That is 8 stages of lifting and when going from black to blonde usually with the first bleaching you get to the red stage. Then you will have to bleach a second time and probably have to tone it with a neutral or a natural warm level 10. Another way to go back natural would be getting highlights every so often and getting conditioning treatments. My opinion, I would stay black. You really seem confident and look confident with that color. Why go back blonde during fall anyways. Autumn is here and leaves start turning, blonde is spring/summer time darker if for fall and winter. As I was reading one of the others answers, they said temporary dye your roots. I'm sorry to say, but even temp dye of blonde hair will penetrate because blonde hair has no pigment in the beginning. Adding black temp dye will continue darkening her hair and will not fade out. As far as your roots are concerned, you seem young, and imo young people's hair grows faster then when you become adults. Also people might think that an eating disorder might not do anything to the hair, but they are wrong. eating disorder and a lot of different medical problems can cause hair loss and can also make the hair brittle.

Wait your hair could be damaged from dying to much if you let it grow out more the natural color will come back if you stop dying the roots and eventually color will fade

Fast way really is just let roots grow without dying then m=have a stylist math the color and dye it.

I like you with the black hair.

Well, with coloring hair there will allways be damage to your hair, the best thing to do in future is too try a herbalistic alternative, ask at the pharmacy or maybe at a salon, all you can realy do is let it grow out, leave in treatments and conditioners will help, as for having an eating disorder, that probably wont affect it, because hair even grows on dead people for years and years after.Anyway dont freak out ok, blonde to black is very drastic for skin tone, however with alittle spray tan it will even out and look great.Rather than freaking out at small things, flaunt them, its much sexier if a person doesnt care.I just died my hair black and red and my flat mate hates it, but i love it so i dont care, confidense is the sexiest thing about a woman.Be strong and it wont seem so bad, if you hate it too much, it is possible to have it stripped of the color at a salon, however it will do more damage than has been done already.

I'm a natural brunette %26amp; I went black. I've been for 4 mos %26amp; I've had to dye it twice to cover roots...but since my color is brown the roots weren't bad. I agree black is liberating (well, except the keeping up w/ roots!). I was just making a fashion statement as a suburban mom too - TOTALLY different liberation from yours.

Personally, I think you're young %26amp; you should experiment. Bc you're fair you can get away w/ so much %26amp; have fun w/ it. You could put some pink in the blonde, or go a vibrant red....the ideas could be endless!

To slowly remove the black I suggest you use temporary color on the roots until it grows out. Then if you decide to go dark again - use temp to keep your options open. Stripping the color chemically is VERY damaging %26amp; IMO not worth it.

The black is striking, but I understand how black feels so.....final. I'm sort of stuck myself. W/ my coloring (medium - tans well) I sort of need to plan ahead depending on the season.

Good luck! And you are so NOT ugly.

If you do choose to go lighter, ask a stylist to do a color recovery. It pulls the pigment off the hair. It will be an ugly color with the recovery alone, but its what needs to be done to pull darker hair out. If you don't want to, opt for a deep brown. whatever you chose, do a deep conditioning weekly and use a protectant. Redken extreme deep fuel is a really good conditoning mad, and you get like 7 packets for 20 dollars, 7 weeks of healthy hair is well worth it. Im a light brunette that goes very light blond, no to mention flat iron and curl like crazy, i fear my hair falling out all the time! : )

your blonde hair is beautiful... but i understand why you want it a different color. What i would suggest is to start doing shades.. and letting it lighten. Shades is a way to color it without harm and to provide conditioning at the same time. I've talked to several stylists about it in my town all from upscale salons and they've all said the same thing. Its a great alternative to dying hair and it leaves your hair so shiny... plus as your natural color grows out it has a great way to blend. If I were you though I would go back to blonde and just keep the hair style you have no since its completely different then before when it was longer.... your blonde hair is beautiful... and you dont see many girls with that blonde of hair naturally. :) best of luck.
