Platinum blond hair?

Ok I know platinum blond hair is trashy looking...but what if you have really pale skin? I was thinking of dying my hair that color. I'm 13 and don't want to look like a s***.

The lighter the skin the better. Hair dye usually looks better if your skin color is lighter than your hair, which is good in your case, so it should look amazing.

For example, I am very tan, and if I had blonde hair I would look very odd, but light skin goes well with it.

I think the only reason a lot of people call it "trashy" looking is because it usually looks really fake. Some people naturally have platinum blonde hair and others can dye it to make it look really good as platinum blonde. If you really want to go with this color, just keep it maintained and touched up always so that dark roots don't show. Dark roots are what make platinum hair look bad. I agree though, it may wash out your face. But, I don't know what you look like so it may look really good.

First of all, I know you don't want to hear this, but you are very young. You're already coloring your hair? How do your parents feel about this? I know I sound old fashioned (and I'm still under 30), but I dont think girls that young should be so concerned with fake hair, fake nails, makeup, etc. But that's another topic. Platinum blond hair isn't trashy...if it's your natural color. Since most of us aren't born that way, it will take many trips to salon, plenty of bleach, and an incredible amount of maintanence and upkeep. Are you ready to subject yourself to the damage it will do on your hair (and your wallet?). If you must color, go for highlights or a lighter shade of your natural color. Something simple and relatively maintanable. Leave the platinum to the Pamela Anderson's and Paris Hilton's.

I have pale skin and natural blond hair. Don't worry about looking washed out...as long as you don't go bleach blond. Platinum looks good and natural if you get it done professionally because then you get the highlights and lowlights of natural blonds. I'm sure it won't look bad and go to a salon and talk to them about it.

it would look good - not fake if thats your skin tone - also it makes your face look sunnier. i have a friend with pale skin and patinum dyed blonde hair and she has little roots but she looks amazing - a tiny bit fake (coz its slightly yellow) but it looks really good on her good luck xxx
